Sarah Mohiuddin, M.D.

Principal Investigator

Dr. Sarah Mohiuddin is the Director of the Multidisciplinary Autism Program at the University of Michigan. She is also the training director for the Child Psychiatry Fellowship Program and Co-Director of the Behavioral Science Sequence at the University of Michigan Medical School. She has served on medical advisory boards for autism advocacy organizations and has consulted on local and state policies related to Autism and Developmental Disabilities. She has written numerous papers on Autism, ADHD, and medical education and training.

Yavuz Ince, M.D.

Co-Investigator

Dr. Yavuz Ince is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ince completed his adult psychiatry training at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University in Detroit, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Michigan School of Medicine, where he served as chief fellow. He is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Dr. Ince is interested in studying emotional and behavioral challenges among patients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), and intellectual disability (ID) and rare genetic neuropsychiatric disorders. He also has an interest in application of electroconvulsive therapy in psychiatric and neurological conditions.

Kara Brooklier, Ph.D.

Co-Investigator

Dr. Kara Brooklier is a pediatric neuropsychologist (licensed psychologist) with specialization in evaluating and treating neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Brooklier is an assistant professor at Wayne State University Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neurosciences, and she is on clinical training faculty at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She is on the Medical Advisory Board for the Autism Alliance of Michigan. Dr. Brooklier was the project lead on the Medicaid Autism Spectrum Disorder Screening, Evaluation and Treatment Recommendation Best Practice Guidelines and she provides autism evaluation consultation and training for Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Danielle Taubman, M.P.H.

Project Manager

Danielle S. Taubman, M.P.H. is a project manager at the University of Michigan Eisenberg Family Depression Center where she has a project portfolio supporting initiatives and needs across the Center. Danielle also works on several projects within the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School. In her role as project manager for TEAM, she oversees the project's planning, documentation, and execution. Danielle earned her Master’s in Public Health degree in Health Behavior & Health Education, with a focus on health communication, from the University of Michigan.

Stephany Daniel, M.F.A.

Communications Specialist

Stephany Daniel is a Communications Specialist in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College in 2015 and has over a decade of experience in marketing communications. Stephany leads marketing efforts for TEAM with the goal of increasing awareness of Autism and Developmental Disabilities educational opportunities for providers and the public.
